The Assemby Straps worked great. My table (2x5) was half tapped 3/8" so I able to use the tapped holes during the build. I built the table on top of the pallet it came shipped on, worked out great. I'm using the table to build the leg portion. 3x3 11g
I bought a table and the assembly straps. The table came promptly but the assembly straps were not included although they were on the packing list.I called the “help” number Thursday, Friday and Sat but got no answer or return call to my message. Called Monday and spoke to someone who said they would send the straps right out. A week later I called to see why they had not come yet. The next day I got an email saying they were just being shipped and then they finally came. The straps make the table go together easily.
Beefy and ready to use. I purchased the ready-made assembly flats for convenience and cost. I didn't have enough clamps or access to u-bolts at a fair price. The straps are too wide to be able to TIG weld under them on a 2" tall Pro Table: Just needed to relocate to the the tack welds completed. They will now be used for weld practice coupons or incorporated into a project.
I expect my experience to be great using the assembly strap pack to clamp my CertiFlat welding table together. I haven't started welding it together yet but, have used the strap pack to begin fitting the parts. Very nice so far. I will suggest a more significant fastener to attach the shipping framework wood together. The screws used were stout but, still pulled out. UPS had knocked one end apart. By the time I got it into the shop parts were falling out. No damage to the table. Very happy to have this table Thanks.
Everything was good except there was a lot of rust that needed to be sanded off. Mostly on the main plate from the moisture in the wood of the pallet. I would recommend placing a moisture barrier between the main plate and pallet ie cardboard and plastic. Other than that great table. Went together really easy, vey precise parts.
